SYNC 6000 Enterprise CIM gateway is a standards-based integration platform designed to provide seamless data integration capabilities between disparate systems of Power automation, including control and monitoring data, billing and revenue data, operations and maintenance data etc. using the IEC-61968 and 61970 Common Information Model framework.

SYNC 6000 uses standard enterprise messaging middle-ware systems to provide the core message transport. This messaging bus is extended with support for the standards-based interface services and application programming interfaces using IEC61970 and IEC61968. SYNC6000 also seamlessly connects the Kalkitech SYNC framework data stores to the enterprise network with built-in adapters.
SYNC 6000 essentially provides a local data source interface that can be customized to collect data and a configuration interface to supply the CIM model for the data. Data is modeled in CIM and published via enterprise service bus to all subscribers.
